I started watching since Eccleston took over in 2005. Doctor Who has the be one of the best shows the BBC has ever produced (alongside Sherlock) The last three Doctors were amazing - but Tennant, Tennant was the most flamboyant and fitting for the role.
One thing I ask of American TV producers - only one thing. Do not try to Americanize the show. Please. There has been rumours of an American Doctor Who.
Seriously, if that happens, my jimmies will be extremely rustled.

david tennant ( 10th doctor ) was by far the best:
fact: in a "behind the scenes show" it is reavealed that david actually has a really scottish accent :O

Rory will get the award for "Most deaths of a companion"
WHOO!
This is brilliant. I know this all already off by heart and was really looking at it to check if it's right :P
Technically the 1st Doctor only battled the Daleks 4 times. The other story was the 1-part 'Mission to the Unknown' which was just a teaser (almost like the prequel episodes we have now) for the longest story ever, the 12-part epic 'The Daleks' Master Plan'.
And it should also be mentioned that Jamie featured in far more episodes than any other companion, at 113 during his time on the show.
I'll have to avoid complaining about all the non-companions that are so often said to be.
But this is great. i love the Doctor Who channel :D
