Before I say what I am about to say, I shall state this: I am a Grammar Nazi.

If Grammar Nazis correct spelling, isn't our grammar wrong in calling ourselves grammar Nazis when we're correcting spelling?

Btw this is my philosoraptor now >:D

Not exactly.
Grammar: A normative or prescriptive set of rules setting forth the current standard of usage for pedagogical or reference purposes.
By "set of rules" the Grammar Nazis also take into account spelling, because without proper spelling, all grammar would go to hell. That is the main reason why we distinguish between "your" and "you're" instead of just saying "ur" because people can understand us them.
Grammar Nazis, or at least every one that I've come in contact with, do not just correct grammar, they correct any mistake with anything so it can be understood easier by the general public. I'm assuming you've seen what the "general public" has devolved into, and can agree with a lot of people in saying that they need all the help they can get.

The apostrophe is unnecessary and the period goes inside the quotation mark.

By "apostrophe" I am assuming you mean the quotation marks I used.

Nazi's <---That thing. It's unnecessary, mang. "Nazis" is just fine.

I was going to defend myself further, but I laughed at "mang."
