Religious Jokes- Funny from ages (10-14) Thanks for giving out your age, OP.

"Atheists" on FunnyJunk.

Please tell me more about your extensive and personal scientific studies and historical research. Tell me how much actual time and energy you have actually spent on trying to form and discern your own perspective based on rationality and logic.

I'm sorry...But if you haven't studied both sides of the argument...You are literally talking out of your ass. Until you can beat an atheist in a debate, as well as beat a Christian in a debate, you obviously don't have enough information to actually be taken seriously. Until you have read the Bible as well as studied evolution, I recommend you pick up a couple of books and show an ounce of maturity.

Yeah, because evolution is definitely from a book, not evidence or anything.
#104 to #94 - anonymous (04/16/2012) [-]
The 'evidence' for evolution is so incomplete that it's not worth it to take it seriously.
#119 to #104 - anonymous (04/16/2012) [-]
It is worth it to take seriously, I don't understand where this lack of evidence is, there's the fossil record which though has holes gives a good guideline to how certain species evolved and when we look at genes and the DNA there's overwhelming evidence.

It's not that there's a lack of evidence but it's the fact that there is no evidence that you will let yourself believe.

Sorry, friend, but you're retarded.

Hahaha!1!11!1211!!! yeah because the evidence for god is so conclusive.
#120 to #115 - anonymous (04/16/2012) [-]
Who says I believe in God? Neither evolutionism nor creationism have convinced me until now. I just can live with the fact that we will probably never know were live came from.

Maybe there is a God but maybe there isn't the only way we'll ever truly find out if when we die, so there isn't really much point in arguing about it/

Butthurt atheist post again. I hope you realize that even the story of spiderman makes more sense than the evolutiontheory or the expansiontheory.

Except that the bible has tons of historically accurate data and an origin theory that was less holes than the expansion theory, but sure, whatever you want to say.
#116 to #66 - pulu (04/16/2012) [-]
y, historically accurate...

Remember birth time of jesus? When jesus was allegedly born, bible says there where 3 men in ruling: Caesar Augustus (ordered everyone to pay those taxes) King Herod (ordered slaughtering of all toddler boys to kill jesus) and Quirinius (governor of syria).

Here is the thing, the tax collecting ordered by Augustus while Quirinius was in Syria happened at 6 or 7 C.E. (common era [means same as A.D.]) but Herod DIED at 4 B.C.E. (before common era [same as B.C.]) So the 3 guys couldn't be in power when jesus was allegedly born because 1 of them died 10 years earlier...

That is just 1 example of your historical accuracy...

Although that's correct, you're just going to be thumbed down. Sadly, most FunnyJunk users are ignorant and unaware... It's become "the cool mainstream and liberal thing" to promote yourself as an atheist- yet know absolutely nothing about history, scientific fact or basic world knowledge. Mostly just blind conformists latching on to mainstream viewpoints, having no opinion of their own and jumping into whatever bandwagon would be considered the most "cool." Faith in humanity= dying. Take the time to learn fact people...You might just be less arrogant and retarded. And that is why I respect Christianity. The only religion that actually holds water. Anyone who actually knows a thing or two would agree. Ignorance is blyss

Where is the evidence for an origin theory that is more scientifically credible than the expansion theory
User avatar #86 to #78 - IamSofaKingdom (04/16/2012) [-]
The idea that a being powerful enough to create a universe is just as viable as the theory that nothing existed, but something happend and suddenly matter came into existence. The creation of creation and the creation of life are both crucial points for the theories of origin and expansion and they remain unanswered. It really rustles my jimmies that depsite those serious flaws, the theories are taught in school as if they were facts. I watched a documentary a little while back where many heads of the science community (well established atheist) said they were tired of every clinging so desperately to these theories when they are clearly, fatally flawed. They don't beleive in God but they do believe we need a feasibly theory and I fully respect that. The average internet "atheist" is simply following the trend and has taken no intiative to learn what they "believe" or they would look toward a more reliable theory. I don't oppose scientific pursuits by any means, I just wish they weren't so arrogant that they can't accept that they need a new theory.
#93 to #86 - anonymous (04/16/2012) [-]
I admit there's holes in those theories but as time goes by there are less and less holes that need to be filled and for teachers to teach it as a fact is wrong. Science is really our best way of understanding and interpreting the universe and the natural world, any scientists who says their idea is right and others are wrong is a bad scientist. Currently though these are the best theories out there even if they do have their flaws.

Also you still never answered my question of where the bible has a more credible origin theory.
User avatar #75 to #70 - IamSofaKingdom (04/16/2012) [-]
I don't think you understand how glad I am that someone halfway reasonable responded. I post something like this on almost every half-assed "atheist rules" post and I just take the rud thumbs. Your logical response is well worth the crimson.
