The only reason I like the Modern Warfare games is to feed my imagination, I don't play the multiplayer at all... The reasons I hate this game is BECAUSE OF THE MULTIPLAYER! To many fucking assholes and every kid on it had sex with my mom... And when I talk to COD fags I usually hear them say they know all about weapons... But when I ask them "what's the difference between a 44. and a 357?" They get just stand there thinking for 30 fucking seconds.... Sweet mother of Bruce Dickinson...

I've been a firearm owner/enthusiast/constant shooter since I was old enough to hold a damn shotgun and I rage so hard at kids who think CoD teaches you about real guns. I own an AK, I've shot a dozen AR-15's and a mixbag of handguns that would make Neo shit himself. I don't have anything against people who like CoD, but for the horror of fucking Cthulu don't even begin to lie to yourself in thinking videogames ever give accurate representations of real guns. /endrant

Besides, you don't fucking RUN AROUND with a 20 pound rifle. Canadian sniper in Afghanistan a few years back: Kill shot using a bolt action .50 BMG. He hit an insurgent at 1.58 miles. The round blew a hole in the guy about 8 inches in diameter. Long story short: Play the game, enjoy it, but don't even begin to think it's anything like real weapons or warfare.

Go for it. Most of my experience is with common assault rifles and hunting gear (Bolt action rifles and shotguns) but I get bored and research a lot. Plus I've got numerous friends in USMC and regular Army who teach me stuff.

That's cool. I'm actually a really big fan of Bolt Actions, I'm starting to get into airsoft war games as a riflemen and my primary is gonna be a WELL MB08. When I first fired a 30-06 at a range with my father I fucking flew across the air because of the recoil, BUT HOT DAMN THAT SHIT WAS FUN!!!

A 30-06 isn't too bad. Then again, my firearm experience started when I was 7 and firing off a pump action 12 gauge. I actually hunt with a Marlin bolt action shotgun, oddly enough. I always leaned more towards assault rifles (I love my AK more than I like most people) because growing up in the South bolt action rifles are everywhere, so i guess I always liked the more exciting ones.
