I killed that Tenpenny bastard in pretty much every way imaginable, My favorite being the Sniper Rifle point blank to the face, but the Ripper with bloody mess was a close second

yeah i understand why. i got to the part and when i was there, it just suddenly dawned on me that they didnt tell me what it was. and i died. when i re-loaded and tried to get them to do it instead my guy told them the code, and i changed my mind and did it.

-open the game as normal but don't click "play game"
-go to "data files"
-make sure all DLC is ticked

with the Broken Steel you just wake up back with the Brotherhood 2 years after and can keep playing.

With two crippled legs, a crippled head, and a crippled torso, I followed him back to rivet city to make sure he was safe. on our journey i ran out of ammo protecting him from the horrors of the apocalypse and no matter what happened to him or I, he did not give a single fuck about his son dying or the dangerous areas he strolled right on through. I refuse to believe that the radiation killed him. he simply took a nap so he could absorb its strength in peace and become even more badass.

I think the equipment in Fallout 3 and New Vegas are measured in pounds (lbs.), as it's an American game.

Not necessarily.

I actually liked Hardcore mode. It added a well needed level of realism into New Vegas, though I still think it would've done more justice in Fallout 3. Fallout 3 just felt a tad more Post-Apocalyptic than New Vegas.

I digress, I just felt that Hardcore did a good job at making the player switch up their play style. Most players usually run around with a good 6 different weapons, each with their own ammunition stockpile of a few thousand rounds. Hardcore made sure that you weren't able to do that, as well as regulate sleep, drink, and food cycles.

Turn the difficulty up to at least Hard, gets a bit more... interesting, to say the least.

Before raiding the NCR prison, I grabbed a night vision scope for my varmint rifle, stocked up on water and food and hid behind a hill and executed the most realistic stake-out in a video game I've ever seen.

Hah, sounds like a damn good time.

Thanks to the Lonesome Road DLC, I was able to get a hold of a portable sleeping roll. Using that, and no more than a fully modded Hunting Rifle, and a sizable amount of food rations, I'd trek out into the Southwestern area of the Wasteland, where if it's not populated by hostile wildlife, I'm being hunted by Legionaries.

With a little imagination, Hardcore mode works wonders.

I can easily live with ammo weight, but in return I want more powerful firepower. It just feels so bullshit to keep spamming bullets for headshots on enemies, only to waste it in the end. You really need to bring a shitload of ammo to play NV.

There are only 72 mininukes in FO3.

There were around 90, but every once in a while, I believe one could be bought from Flak & Shrapnel's, just that they were pricy as fuck and it'd take you a good minute to build up a reliable stockpile of nukes.

But that's good enough reason to play it again, if the entirety of the atmosphere and nostalgia factor would stop getting me so damn depressed.
