That's called having a deist approach- a God exists, who created everything, but who doesn't intervene in human affairs, or care what we do or how we do it, or tell us how to act.

By the way, you could easily have the good qualities without the Bible at all. I mean, the 'Golden Rule' that Christians love to tout as proof of the Bibles morality was actually firmly in place for thousands of years previous to it, prevelant in Hindu and Buddhist scriptures.

No problem. A deist position is far easier to defend than a theist position, because it's an unfalsifiable hypothesis. That said, due to being unfalsifiable, it's a philosophically unstable position.

Personally, I believe something similar to you. I don't believe completely in the Bible or religion in general, because they were created by man to control man. But I do believe that there is a greater being out there that "allowed" for the creation of the universe. I also believe that God doesn't interfere in our lives, he just simply exists.

Technically, not all evolution has been proven. The concept of micro-evolution has been proven. It takes place over short periods of time and can be seen with a species of bird that changed color to blend in with soot covered trees during the height of the industrial revolution in England during the 1800's to the early 1900's.

The theory of macro-evolution is still just that--a theory. Neither side has obtained enough evidence to 100% disprove the other, and because of the fact that macro-evolution occurs over millions of years, it's impossible for us to study.

Both "micro" and "macro" evolution has been the only theory proven by observable and accurate evidence and there is no alternative to that.

Micro evolution describes the changes in traits that occur when a trait boosts survival or mating rates drastically. The trait changes, the species stays the same.
There is MOUNDS of evidence for this, and you'd have to be an idiot not to acknowledge this as a fact.

Macro evolution describes the changes in lifestyle and chromosomal composition that occur when a species stops being that species. Traits change because the species stops being one species, and starts being another.
There is NO evidence for this in recorded history, and you'd have to be an idiot to acknowledge it as a fact.

As a christian (I dont get why i still have to tell people this), micro evolution makes sense. Its alot like how each generation of human kids changes a bit from their parents and grandparents, but we never change into a different species or anything. But when a fly changes a small bit in the shape of its eye or something, theres a whole rant about how its a new species and it prooves evolution.

Studies in zoology/entomology have examined several cases of speciation in vertebratesas well as invertebrates. Speciation is the starting point of evolution, that one animal can change is such a way that it no longer breeds with the original animal.
One frog species was verifiably traced down the east coast of the United States noting the changes that took place the further south it went. In the end, the Maine representative and the Georgia representative were quite dissimilar and no longer interbred with each other but the steps from one to the other were clearly documented.
In Hawaii, birds were clearly speciated from one island to another. The geographic separation allowed the representatives to develop in divergent ways to become separate species.
Insects such as fruit flies can change and speciate quite rapidly.
These examples were in standard zoology text books.
In making this statement, I don't mean to advocate evolution from phylum to phylum or even from order to order, but speciation has definitely been proven.

The issue is that you look at that and think, "Oh, they must have different chromosomal chemistry now because they don't have sex any more."

There are people with brown hair, blonde hair, red hair, and black hair.
If, for some reason, they all decided to stop having sex with anyone other than another of their same hair color, none of the four groups would ever stop having 23 sets of chromosomes because of it. Get it?

That's why you don't go out and just pick a religion, the religion picks you. It's kind of like when bandwagon sports fans just decide one day that they're going to be a Steelers or Patriots fan because they're good. If you like a team only because they're good, you have no real passion for that team. I think religion is the same way. You shouldn't just be a Christian because your family/friends/community are Christian. It should be some thing you actually feel and believe in.

Also, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all believe in the same God. I'm a Christian but I worship the same God as Jews and Muslims, which I think is kinda cool. Even though we're so different, we believe in the same God.

and science has never and will never dictate morals. The fact that I, as an atheist, hold rape as morally incorrect and stepping on an ant as morally neutral is because I am a good human being who doesn't require fear of hell or rewards of heaven as an excuse to be good.
