It is in fact possible, although if you do it to much you'l faint. It's a feature used in survival suits for those who travel offshore. You breathe out in a "bag" and use it as air so you can stay longer under water. Usefull for when you are trying to escape and upside down heli in the water.

it's not all CO2 you know we humans only use about 15% of all the oxygen in the air we breath in so you should be able to breath the same air about 3 times
