THat is true, the cartoon version of the Joker is very much different. but then again the new Batman movies are supposed to me much darker in general, and Heath Ledger didn't try to copy how Mark Hamill did him, he went his own way. and that makes me respect him very much.

I actually do believe so as well, most people portray the Joker as some clown with jokes, but he is actually very cynical and psychotic

Terrifying in his minimalist plans, and thrilling in his psychosis. Heath ledger's charecter tried too hard. this is a problem with the writers more than anything. also one thing i can not tand is the constant lip smacking from him that he would never stop (maybe that was a side effect of constant heroin addiction)

I can assure you that they remain unrustled and i can tell you that i am quite happy to explain my side of this debate whole heartedly as someone who studies the criminal mind, and enjoys it passionately because of an early obsession with the entire batman universe, with a special focus on the antics of the joker.
