I hate people basing their views on Canada purely on stereotypes. First of all, mounties are not our normal police. They are more for show, and rather badass IMO. The Cup actually leaves the Borders fairly often. Like In Zdeno Chara's case he took it to his home town in Slovakia.

Canadians fill every American hockey team so technically Canadians won the cup for you.
