My cat (he;s fine). It's sad that there are people out here that can see these kinds of pictures, or the animal in real life, and have an urge to hurt it for their own amusement.. It's pathetic.

That sort of thing has never happened to my animals, but if it did.... it pisses me off when it happens to OTHER people, if it happened to mine I would personally make sure that before I die, I take out as many of these fuckers that do this kind of shit as I possibly can.

Yeah, he got let off. I'm not terribly sure about the details, because when I heard that story I kinda saw red.
But I'm fairly sure the kids got 100 hours of community service, and a 6month ban on keeping animals.

And that's when I saw red again. People who do that shit should be banned permanently from keeping animals EVER not just for 6 months...

Call me extreme if you like, but here's the way I see it. We need a lot of people who are naturally good at reading people - the sort of person that can tell if somebody else has changed/learned from their mistakes or not. These people need to do it for the good of society, not just for the money, otherwise it'll never work. I'll call them psychiatrists, but they're far from the ones we have today.

The people that do these kinds of things should be constantly monitored for years, and have to visit the psychiatrist regularly. If they do the same things again, in your case murdering kittens, then they should just be killed because they're a lost cause if they haven't changed after years. Usually the kind of person that is morally capable of killing animals for fun is the kind of person who is so hopelessly fucked up in the head that they never recover.

I rarely get a chance to actually state my opinion on this kind of thing, because as soon as I bring up morals and doing things for the good of humanity, I get called a religious nutjob, except I'm not religious at all.

Thing is too - it's not just the people that actually do it, it's the ones that find it funny, record it and then post it all over the internet on places like 4chan, just to attempt to get people riled up. It's not as bad, but these are also some pretty fucked up people that they use that sort of thing just to toy with people's morals, then call them gay just for having a heart.
