shadowmere actually respawns after a little while, i think usually the place he died. i lost him for two months, just couldnt fucking find him, then i stumble across an old barrow and he's just fuckin sitting there not giving a fuck

i lost shadowmere once. I was just walking a week later and found him in the middle of fucking nowhere. The reunion was so sweet until he got Mauled by a saber cat.

It makes it even more emotional when you realize that that dog was his last connection to humanity, to his wife, and more importantly, his child. That dog was his last link to sanity and he had to suffocate it with his own hands. That is the point when all of his hope was truly lost. That is why he died with the grenade. He had truly lost everything.

On of my favorite mods: Give a dog a home. Little mod that does so that when you say "Go home dog", he'll go home to your own house and you can pick him up later.

I really want to play that but its not on Xbox or PC and that is all I have. But I have a similar story.

I was playing Realm of the Mad God. Me and this guy, we found each other, wandered around, from level one, together forever. We didn't utter many words at all but we played through the whole thing together. For so long. Like, 30 minutes, we wandered around, just me and him, killing monsters in the forest. A rogue and a wizard, just wandering around together, kicking ass.

Then suddenly, we find a terrible monster. We fought hard but close to the monsters demise, the unthinkable happened. He fell in battle, and I finished it. I still remember the name he had. "Scheev", the mighty, heroic wizard. Bad feels all over these comments.

amazing game on the PS3 for about $15 on the PSN store in which you play as a cloaked traveler you know nothing about on your way to the top of an unnamed mountain through various terrains with one companion and one companion alone, or you go by yourself. I really recommend it.

Yes when I was at the top of the mountain and I kept going slower and slower. This is my third playthrough of it, during my first one someone I'd met along the way and I were there at the peak and we just kept trying to keep eachother alive with the music we made and it just kept getting dimmer and dimmer and we were becoming more and more powerless, then he fell over, and I followed suit. A manly tear went down my eye when I pondered that my friend couldn't keep me alive, and I couldn't keep him alive, and the fact that this journey ended without us making it to the top of the mountain. Then that God made me a super Saiyan.

just fast travel to a nearby city, and he should turn up in the stable just outside. ive lost my horse more times than i can count, and this has always been the easiest way for me to find it

the blades. once you kill him you have to recruit 3 dudes into the blades like followers, mercenaries and such. after that the old nigga will tell you where dragons are. and you get a potion that i tihnk permanantly reduces damage taken from dragons by 25%. oh and the greybeards fucking hate you once you kill him.

Sorry, just I've been practically living in Skyrim since November 11th. Just irritates me after playing the game for so long, I mean nothing by it.

uhuh. Well look, I admire your dedication to a game. I have similar dedication to mass effect (beaten the entire thing 3 times and I'm on my 4th playthrough of the series now), but firstly there is nothing wrong with people wanting to just buy a game for 'epic swordfighting' and 'cool shouting powers' because people have every right to enjoy a game how they wish to enjoy it. That's the whole point of an interactive experience. and calling people sheep because they listened to people saying that skyrim is a lot of fun is not a good reason. There are much better reasons to call people sheep.

In a way, it's a more of a sadness for them. They just bought a game for $50 and they're probably only going to get 50 hours of gameplay out of it by taking the game at face-value, when they could play in depth and understand the world dynamics and get a good 400 hours or more. It just seems sometimes like it's a waste to some people.
But as you said, 'free country!'. People can do as they wish....

for me, I never intend to put altogether that much time into skyrim. None of the storylines have particularly amazing storytelling, and while the in-game universe has impressive amounts of lore. The game itself feels rather soulless. I enjoy running around, stabbing things, shouting at stuff, and discovering new things, but I don't enjoy much else in skyrim. You clearly do and that is awesome for you. I wouldn't want to change your opinion on it because you clearly are enjoying something in a way that I just don't.

I see. Now that I have that context I understand what you mean. I have not played enough skyrim to actually see that. I don't think it was intended as "he is going to be a dragon tyrant like alduin" so much as "he is going to seriously try to boss the dragons into not be aggressive fucks" though as I said I have not played enough to get to that point so perhaps I am still lacking context.
