If Only. . .

what people imagine a zombie apocalypse is like:
-living without responsibilities and rules/laws.
-heroic acting together with your crush/loved one.

what it's most likely really going to be (given you're not a zombie)
-constant fear, exhaustion, hunger and thirst.
-emotional breakdown as you need to kill your zombiefied friends and family
-spending the rest of your life with other broken souls.
-living without purpose, goals and joy.
-no computer, electricity, running water or any other basic human needs and luxuries.


but i shouldn't be talking in a realistic way about a zombie apocalypse. so when it happens i look forward to see your guys at camp funnyjunk.

The zombie apocalypse would be anything but fun.

>Lack of medicine makes even small scrapes and cuts potentially deadly
>Broken limbs are a death sentence
>Drinking water without zombie contamination would be extremely hard to find
>Food would be scarce
>No rules, people would butcher each other
>No easily available soap, teeth would rot, hair out of control
>Taking a shit would always be scary, as you are most vulnerable then
>Sleep deprivation due to paranoia about zombies
>Diseases not deadly now such as diarrhea become life threatening if not treated
>Winter would make most of the globe almost impossible to survive on presently
>Travel would be hard, due to lack of calorie intake to supplement long journeys
>Guns would be impractical, loud and run out of ammo fast
>Cars would break down after 3,000 miles due to most people not knowing how to perform maintenance
>Free time would be spent doing nothing, as to conserve energy/keep food rations in stock
>Trauma of losing everyone you know/love would take it's toll
>No purpose to live anymore, depression would set in
>Realization that your life means nothing and you can never escape your dim fate would break morale

I love how everyone thinks that during the apocalypse they're going to be the bad ass survivor, when in reality they're gonna be pissing themselves and begging for death.

I have a theory:

A zombie apocalypse may occur, but it won't be successful. Primarily because the populace of Earth has gained knowledge of zombies from the genre so much for so long, that the populace would react before it gets out of hand. So in other words, zombies would get killed off very easily since the population has constantly gained knowledge of the zombies and actually prepared for it, making the zombie apocalypse nothing more but a minor outbreak.

I would love this! So many assholes to kill!

And then the zombies get Pikachu and you change your mind about the whole situation.
