REALITY CHECK: Banning abortions is taking away somebody's rights. The right of a completely developed, thinking, and self-sufficient being. A fetus has less thoughts than a puppy. People don't call it murder if the puppy is culled. As nasty as abortions is you can't go around making decisions for people. The fetus is part of the mother until a baby is born and the mother has the decision to terminate the pregnancy before then.

Well... At a certain point after the baby has developed I would say yes that's true but if it's done early in the pregnancy I don't think so.

i don't mean to argue, but if the mother was too stupid and/or irresponsible to use contraceptives in the first place; how well do you think the child's quality of life would be if the mother couldn't be bothered to take a pill once every day.

i think that pro-life is a nice idea, but it wouldn't actually work out once you look at what would actually happen.

I do agree that most of these pregnancies are from people being retarded but I also recognize there are circumstances like rape that make is so it wasn't really the mothers choice.

Please enlighten me. I'm no expert but I do know after a certain point in a pregnancy a fetus starts to feel pain, has brain waves, and becomes mentally developed enough to support life.
