theres a difference between saying someones a douche because they make jokes to their friends and are honest when need be even if it is brutally so and then saying women are sensitive and deserved to be treated as such. now to this you might say "wtf that makes no sense" well let me explain

" that comment in and of itself shows that you dont respect womens sense of humor in the same way you respect your own ability to take a joke. and that. is white knighting, you sir are going from being a decent guy thinking that you should be nice to women to a misogynist who feels you have to be careful around all women all the time because theyre sensitive and men are not. if a woman cant take a joke or are unable to stop something from getting to them then theyre either rather young still or dont deserve the attention from compliments to begin with. it may not mean they deserve insults but if they cant take them or joking insults then theyre just pussies, and that exists in both genders.

Girls shouldn't call guys ugly, but guys definitely shouldn't call a girl ugly. They take it a lot more to heart than a guy would. It's just being chivalrous. I guess you're one of those people that has to have everything even between sexes, and I'm a guy who treats women generally nicer than I do guys. It's just how I was raised.

i think things shouldnt be forced out of being equal just because society wills it, being a generally nice person and wanting to be nice is different then putting someone in a different class. ** (e.g. complimenting girl for no reason because shes a girl and "needs" it=misogyny. complimenting someone because its just a nice thing to do= nice person.) ** im not someone who feels its necessary to call a girl ugly just as i wont do the same for guys, no one wants to hear it and if a girl DOES take it to heart and it affects her whole life then its her OWN fault. just like if the same thing happened to a guy. girls and guys both are perfectly capable of handling insults, if they cant its not because of the insult or insulter its because of the person being insulted. so saying that they take it to heart a lot more is bullshit. anyone can take it to heart. if a girl called a guy ugly youre saying generally guys wouldnt take it to heart as much as if it happened the other way around. youre either rather young or only have experience with girls who think life is a popularity contest and/or demand the affection of others.

But... I'm not young, and I have many girl friends, some think life is a popularity contest and others are more laid back and son't worry about things like that. I don't even think you know what misogyny means with how you've been using so I have to doubt your own age honestly.

but if that's the only thing you ever say to your friends (which is what the first anon implied) and never anything positive, then that's being a douche. Sure, it's fun to joke around like that with your close friends, which i do, but not constantly, because everybody eventually gets sick of being insulted, whether in a joking manner or not.
