I'm saying Bach had more musical talent than Katy Perry does. And no, they haven't. It may sound good to the average radio listener, but it's just bad. Generic as fuck, nothing that hasn't been done before. Nothing outstanding. Just mediocre all around. And the lyrics aren't meaningful at all, just no.
And my favorite bands are *shels, Gospel, and Mastodon, probably. And I like Queen actually, but it's become one of those bands where 14 year olds listen to one album and automatically think they have great taste in music. Then we get a bunch of content about how Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber suck and you should only listen to Queen or Led Zeppelin because they're "real music". Queen is good, but it's for 14 year olds who feel a need to be confident in their music tastes so they listen to Classic Rock because it's the only good music left, apparently.

wow how shallow can you be the rev was a great drummer, i like all of those band even the one's you say you like, fair enough some of their songs are a bit bland but that's them as a whole, they are each very good musicians on their own especially the rev, but i wouldn't expect you to actually know this. I'm sure you haven't heard a single song and only dismiss them for stuff you hear but who am i to judge, one of the main reasons i listened to A7x was because of the rev.

Allow me to my input in on this.
I think Black Veil Brides are okayish. A bit too much screaming for my taste, but one or two of their songs are decent. Such as Fallen Angels or Knives and Pens. I'm not going to judge you for it like everyone else is. Everyone has their own musical taste, and I can respect that.
A7X, in my opinion, is a good band. Many of their songs are really good, and the vocals (along with the instrumentals) have a catchy and awesome tune.
Being more of a punk rock/alternative type person, I like Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Falling in Reverse, etc.
I can also appreciate the older stuff, like Queen, David Bowie, Nirvana... you catch my drift.
TL;DR, I can respect all music types because I too listen to many different music genres.

My favourite bands consist of Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, A7x, SoaD, Disturbed, Tool, Kamelot, Muse, Rush, etc. There's a lot of variety within the rock and metal genres there, but regardless, you don't see me trashing other people for not liking what I like. I would probably describe them as "epic metal". I don't know if that's an actual genre or not, but it's like the atmosphere of an orchestral score (that "epic" feeling) with metallic riffs. Roy, the singer, sort of reminds me of an opera version of Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden. It's not for everyone, I would just listen to them just for Roy's voice. It's absolutely beautiful.

I used to be a big fan of them actually. Buried alive used to be my favorite song and I used to have them on repeat. They're terrible, looking back now. All their lyrics could have been written by a 14 year-old and all the music could have been written by someone with no knowledge of music theory.

Saying a band is gay, is simply stupid as hell and does not count as a valid reason. You can say that you dont like the band for.. Lets say, i think some of their songs have screaming vocals, which i dont happen to like. Black Veil Brides fanbase consists mostly of pathetic girls who are in love with Andy. Here i talk out of experience. Even tho their instrumental is a bit clumpy and not as good as the other bands i hear, and that i do not understand the lyrics, and that i could live without the screaming, then i'd say that they have some talent. As for Metallica, i really them. Hearing it now actually. As for Iron Maiden, i like some of their songs, but i dont really like the singing style. Not that i hate Iron Maiden, its just not completely my cup of tea, but i would could get used to it.
