1. crimes committed by theists greatly outweigh crimes by nontheists, and I don't see any atheists/agnostics flying planes into buildings/crucifying people for disagreeing with them/starting wars to try to convert people. So this point is retarded.
2. People seem to think that the big bang is universally worshiped by atheists, and that we all think that is exactly how everything began. No. Just no. It's still a theory, as you repeatedly remind us. However it is still just a little bit less dumb than The Big Invisible Man Who Was Totally Always There. We doubt the big bang just as much as you.
3. If you break it down to the molecular level, we are just a bunch of tiny nonliving parts, so yes I personally believe that life was formed from nonliving material as opposed to being made from tiny rocks. Once again, my theory actually makes sense but disagrees with yours.
4. I call it chance/probability instead of faith, but yeah, human existence is practically impossible. That's why you don't see other planets with life, It's fucking impossible to create.
5. The people we quote actually existed and we have well documented proof of their existence. Can you say the same?
6. I think it's kinda cute when you try to shunt beliefs from 2000+ years ago into a modern view of things. Because reproduction is our only prime directive as biological beings. Thinking that we actually have a purpose other than that means that Hitler and John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy and Joseph Stalin and Dennis Raider were planned by god from the beginning to kill and maim innocent people.

I'm an unquestioning atheist. Now, to break down your comment...
1) No, I don't. People that do are stupid and comparable to Nazis. A small group by no means should ever represent the whole. That's simple logic.
2) This is wear atheists always get mashed up and ground to bits, the origin of the Big Bang. No-one really knows much about, or even if the singularity came into existance or always existed. I personally believe in 'The Big Bounce' Theory, that Big Bangs and Big Crunches have been happening forever and that the latest Bang was started by the conclusion of the previous Big Crunch.
3) No, I don't think Christians are stupid for the 'from dirt' part, but it's the how that I question. The Bible essentially says that God made a sculpture of man and then made it living.
4) Another misuse of the word "faith". One is 'belief in God(s) and/or religion', and the other is simply 'belief and/or trust'.
5) We quote these people because we fully support the things they say and to us it is 100% logical. As opposed to religious people, who, in most cases, are raised to believe what they do, never given any opportunity to try to think of other things.
6) I do find it more logical. As for comforting, well, I don't particularly care. I move through life as I do trying to enjoy it while I can and let other do the same.
7) That's an idiotic statement. If every atheist believed there was no morality, the crime rate would be much higher. Just because we don't believe in God doesn't mean we feel free to do whatever we want.
8) Absolute Truth refers to God, bro.
9) I think religion was great for the world. It united people and inspired them to do good things. But now people should be able to believe as they please without being called 'immoral', 'satanic', or 'evil'. It should not affect people's bids for public office or how they're treated in public.

10) I personally don't try to convert. I prefer genuine religious discussions. It's the people I'm talking to that feel I'm cramming and so try to counter-cram.
11) I don't. I recognize that people can be brilliant and still be religious. It's just that most people I've seen are simply content to believe that they live in God's world and it is how He wants, and feel there's no need to question it. But that's just in my experience, really.
12) For the first part, see point 1). For the second, I have had good conversation with true Christians, and they go swimmingly. Other times, they feel I'm trying to convert and/or 'corrupt' them, and go into a rage or try to counter-convert me.

I don't mean to say I agree with the 'unquestioning Christian' picture, but that the Atheism one is much much much stupider.
