Was loyal to his master long after his
death in 1858. Until Bobby' s own
death 14 years later, he reportedly
spent every night at his master' s
grave.
After his owner had ed during a
hike in the mountains,
stood guard by his body for eleven
weeks. He was found, cold and
starving, by another hiker. The
faithful dog only survived long
enough to attend his master' s
funeral.
