I've come to realize
inb4 sea of red thumbs
First off let me say that I' m sure more than half
of you will say "Where' s the funny" or TL; DR or
some other bullshit and I expect that from you.
If anything it validates my point.
Last night someone created a content with a
picture of Vegeta trying to see if can get
9001 thumbs on it, He deleted the account to
show that he was not thumbwhoring, The
members of who were on that night were
excited and went for it. This morning the content
was riddled with comments such as "thumbwhore"
this is the reason this site sucks" etc,
There' s a couple things wrong with that,
L Get over it, Funnyjunk isn' t 100% funny, It
has no limits, There' s feel posts, funny posts,
memorial posts, debate posts, etc, Just because
you personally don' t enjoy a post doesn' t mean
that the rest of doesn' t. Humor is subjective!
2. In some people' s opinions it WOULD be funny
to see a Vegeta post get over 9000 thumbs, If
you disagree there' s no need to be a dickhead
aboutit.
B, Finally, The reason Fil is broken is because
you complain , If you don' t like a
post move on, No one is forcing you to view
it, If you stumble on it while going through the
top page big fucking deal, Stop crying about it.
What really hurts a site is every time that you
view a content, all the comments are negative,
whiney, complaints, Well guess what...
In the words of all you complainers:
This is funnyjunk, comments are supposed to be
funny. blot a bunch of whining."
I really want to elaborate on this part, You have
a serious problem if you can' t help but complain
about every little thing in your life that bugs you,
It' s a fucking website, Try focusing on the positive
side of things and you might actually see it,

you're right that complaining is a problem, but it's not the complaining itself. Comments don't have to be funny. They are there and available to make points about the content, roll a fun number, share images, or simply to discuss things with fellow members of the FJ community. Comments aren't EXPECTED to be funny nearly as much as content is. So that's where you're wrong.
But you're right because many FJers who complain seem to think that everyone should share the same opinion as they do. Which is completely absurd because FJ will never, never, never, EVER have full consensus on any topic. even bacon: I like bacon, but personally I would not thumb content just for having pictures of it. Instead of commenting "REPOST!", they should say, "I have seen this enough times to suspect that the majority of FunnyJunk has seen this. Also enough times to believe that you are thumbwhoring."
People are SUPPOSED to point out thumbwhoring. with the 9000 thumbs guy, it doesn't matter if he made a new account. Thumbwhores don't only want thumbs simply because it goes to the account that they normally use. Even though that doesn't MEAN he was a thumbwhore, there is a strong strong suspicion that he completely is. Plus, even if some people thought it was funny, is it really funny enough to be worth 9000+ thumbs? I don't think many people would agree to that. So if that content somehow got 9000+ thumbs, it would've been through blatant the manipulation of our psychology. People hate being manipulated, and manipulators are seen as thumbwhores. If you are gonna psychologically manipulate the audience for thumbs, it has to be clever and funny enough to hide that. If not, many people are going to notice and dislike your content.
Just like you think everyone is entitled to their opinion, you should also know that people are entitled to DISLIKE things, too. Not everything is golden.
