K Funnyjunk could you help me out, I'm not an audiophile but I enjoy my music, I listen to all genre's but mainly Metal.

I was looking for some over the ear headphones, not in the ear or on the ears.

Now clearly audio quality is a necessity but there are two others.
I don't have tons and tons of cash to pour 200+ on Headphones, but I'm looking for something that also looks pretty nice while I have it hanging around my neck walking around. I'm not pretentious but I care about how I look.

I'm using a Gamecom Plantronics, It's a massive gaming headset. I use it for music as well and it has a mic.
It's worth googling, Mine cost $50ish AUD.

Using a headset for listening to music is a bad idea (unless the headset is QPAD QH-1339).

Well ok, what i'm getting at is, Beats look good, but sound EH, and are way over priced, but I like the look of them, and I look good with those solo's hanging around my neck, that's what I mean, I just don't want to giant ugly looking things to wear around my neck 24/7 you know? Cause I'll be listening to my ipod for the majority of time

AKG K 550 seem like great headphones for the price but I haven't listened to them so I can't say for certain. If you're looking for bass then you will probably be happy with Sony MDR headphones.
