I guess so, I'm not gonna argue too much since it was like a 2010 study where they compared the sound qualities, in my experience all my skullcandy headphones have broken really quickly.

nononono the beats aren't bad. they're very amazing. I have the beats solo hd headphones with 256kbps .alac's and 320 kbps mp3s on my ipod touch 4th gen and it sounds pretty damn good to me. I ain't saying they''re the best damn thing in the world, but they are not horrible. just expensive.

but then, if youre looking for some headphones which actually play music like it really is, you should look for something else. shure is definitely a good adress, beyerdynamics, even koss has some med-priced gems out there.

I recently purchased some Sol Tracks HD which are under 150 and waaaay better than beats pro...the kicker the owner is the son of the owner of monster who just wants to sell quality that correlates to price unlike his father... who does it for fashion

-Sennheiser are good but can get expensive, although you can find some for a good price.
- I'm using JVC HA-FX1X In ear headphones, cheap and has great reviews, believed to be just as good if not better than beat in-ear headphones
- as commented above I have a MDR-XB500 but the Sony has a variety of MDR-XB's which have amazing bass in them. and they can come fairly cheap.
- Again, Sony has a great range of headphones, some shit but some amazing. the Sony X-Bass MDR XB20 are great in-ear bass headphones.

Best advice is to look around on site to see the best reviewed headphones but affordable. But usually the better the review the higher the price, sadly
