we have a semi-decent education system, one pretty much equal to yours.Your country may contain some decent colleges and universities, but that doesn't make your population more intelligent. a lot of students at those schools come from other countries, also any intelligent Canadian could easily be accepted into those schools, just like any intelligent American could. let's just agree that the guy you're arguing with isn't very intelligent, however there are stupid people in your country, too.

How are you humiliated? By having not a single valid and/or significant point in your argument, then claiming to have facts to back it up. Yeah, Americans can be ignorant assholes who are very full of there country, but they also have the more pride for their country than every other countries' citizens. Whether or not that statement is true and can or cannot be backed up by facts, most every American citizen (even most aliens) believes it. Now I personally think it's stupid to show pride for one's country because we don't chose where we are born, but I think hating the Americans for having that pride is just dumb. America's citizens are ready to fight for their rights and the rights of others, and that kind of confidence can carry a nation a very long way. I'm not saying we've helped anyone, I think we ruin every country we invade, but I do think we have contributed to knowledge as a whole. Besides, which countries haven't invaded and destroyed and caused hell for others? Yes our debt is hell, but that isn't an issue the people can deal with. There isn't a single cantidate with a good plan to help the economy, and I don't think there will be for a while due to where we will and won't place our budget. Personally i think we should cut back on disability or at least make it harder to obtain, but apparently that's immoral. I'm not proud of my country, but I do respect it's past and many of it's leaders. I live here and thats that, so when this land is in danger I will be ready to make a stand for it, because whether I like being used as a pawn or not I would do it if it meant protecting something. Anyone can be proud, but when they become arrogant and think that just because they are located somewhere that its better than everyone else, it rustles the hell out of my jimmies. I said we have those assholes, the rednecks, in our country. Every country has those assholes, and this guy was one of them. He thought just because he lived in Canada it was better, I only acted defensively.

Nobel prizes doesn't mean anything. Portugal has 2 Nobel prizes yet 1 was for inventing lobotomy and is complete bullshit. Nobel prizes only go to 1 or 2 intelligent people. That could mean that a country has a few extremely intelligent people winning the prizes but the rest of the population could have an IQ equivalent to their age, meaning that the education didn't work 99% of the time.
Athletes. You didn't win the summer olympics, China did. Sports outside the olympics such as Rugby, football, tennis, etc. not a single American is the best in the world. Golf is N. Irish, Football is Argentinian, Hockey I don't know but Aus or Dutch, Tennis is Serbian, and it goes on. The only sports outside the olympics the US are the best at are Basketball, Gridiron and Baseball. That's because their only played there as well.

If you say China has way more people than US so it's not fair. Australia gets 4th in almost every olympic games, 5th in the last and they have 20 million people. They have the most medals per capita in the top 30 in the olympics. I didn't check the rest.

The US has 2549 medals to which no one comes close. We also have 1016 gold medals to which again, no one comes close. We produce the highest quality athletes in the world, it's that simple.

I talking about in the last competition your athletes didn't win, so obviously your standards have dropped. No one cares about history of ahtletes as otherwise you could claim to have most stable economy because you used to have the most stable economy. In recent athletic competitions China beat the US. In the athletics department, track and field, the majority of medals went to non-US people. In other sports the US again wasn't the best. We'll see in these olympics but you aren't the best in the last test in terms of net medals or medals per capita. If we were going to do it historically why have the olympics so often? So we can update the rankings. Brazil historically are the best footballing nation as they have the most world cups and players of the year. But they haven't won a world cup in 10 years and it's been about 6 or 7 since a brazilian won the footballer of the year. Therefore they aren't the best footballing nation even though they used to be. Same applies here.
