Of the original 6 Greek gods (The children of Kronos) Hades was the most chilled out and ok god. Disney made him evil cause hades (the place) is often (wrongly) compared to hell making Hades (the god) the equivilent to the devil

The only ones who are anywhere near worthy of praise are Hades, Dionysus and Hephaestus. The rest (to my knowledge) show up in the myths and are complete assholes. Zeus fucks all kinds of girls, Aries is a cowardly fuck, Venus is a slut, Hermes is a prick (mainly in his early years), Athena is a pompus bitch (look into the story of Arachne), Hera is a jealous bitch (not just because her supposed husband cheats on her all the time but when she made Hephaestus by herself she threw him off Mount Olympus), Artemis is like Athena in that she's kind of a bitch and Apollo is almost as bad as Zeus in the sense of him going around fucking any girl (and guy) he wanted. The only real bad thing Hades ever did was kidnapping Persephone but let's face it, he was struck by Eros' love arrow and he got the raw end of the bargain as to when he can be with her. Plus if any of the gods has a reason to be a villain like in Disney's Hercules and Clash of the Titans it's him cause he is the oldest brother, Zeus being the youngest, and deserved to be ruler of them all but has to be in the dank underworld for eternity only coming up when an earthquake occurs to ensure no breaks in the earth reach into the Underworld. Hephaestus got revenge on his bitch of a mother and cheating wife. Dionysus, he's basically the Jesus of Greece who likes to party (but doesn't like it when followers get drunk).

I always thought that was kind of annoying, how much they changed from the original myth so that everyone has the real story wrong. I suppose the original one IS a bit too graphic for the kids. He was one of the best Disney villains in my opinion, though. XD

MFW I know more about mythology then all my english/literature teachers, and they always use the Roman names for everything.

In the original Greek mythology all the major gods rape the shit out of anything with a vagina, except Hades who does steal his wife away, but woes here honestly with poetry and what not.

He was without a doubt the nicest Greek God, but because he's "god of the underworld" he has to be the bad guy. He isn't even god of "death", that's Thanatos.

And Zeus is the biggest dick in Greek mythology.

OP he's never done anything necessarily nice... Zeus is worse then him but he did kidnap Persephone and dragged her into hell and forced her to marry him. No not the NICEST guy in greek myths but not the worst

Did this movie bother anyone else because Zeus and Hades are Greek and Hercules is roman? It should be Heracles.
