This is what happens when you put them in the microwave. It isn't an issue when you use an oven. 350°F for 20 minutes and you'll have a very tasty meal.

I use a knife + fork for my hot pockets. They're far too messy to eat by hand.

The microwave only heats the sides, it doesn't heat the centre. Furthermore, microwaves have a habit of causing hot pockets to explode.

I'd much rather have a perfectly cooked hot pocket than one that is frigid in and centre and icky all over.

It's basically a rectangular roll of bread, with different items inside, generally cheese and meat. They are sold frozen, and have a habit of getting super-cooked on the outside, and undercooked in the middle.
