94 is a bit young. that means the kid would be six and able to comprehend maybe 2 years of his entire life. not to mention too young to figure out most puzzles on any video games he or she played. basically, if you werent born in or before 1990 i wouldnt personally call you a 90's kid.
I was born in 96 so i wasnt a 90's kid either way. thats not to say i dont like some of the 90's stuff. i have beaten many classic 90's games and play pokemon silver from time to time but i wouldnt tell anyone about it because its something i like to do and admittedly kind of childish. the point is, the 90's were a great time to grow up but but dont let it define you and anyone who does probably isnt totally grown anyway. so let them have their fun and talk about the glory days they probably never had. theyll find better subjects that they dont know anything about to rally around.
