black is the absence of light but the combination of all pigment.

inversely, white is the combination of all light but the absence of pigment.

therefore, if we all have uncolored text, which is white, we must abide by pigmentation. this means getting black text would qualify as color.

otherwise, if black text has no color, then this white text IS colored text and we should all be happy.

When an object does not give off light or absorbs all wavelengths of the visible electromagnetic spectrum, there photoreceptors in our eyes fail to be stimulated, and therefore our brain interprets this as black.
Pixels on an LCD screen do not truly emit black color, they try not to emit anything at all. However, it emits small amounts of light regardless, creating a "synthetic" black which you all obviously have seen, it is much greyer. Pixels do NOT use pigmentation for coloring, and therefore your logic is invalidated.
So using this information, by making our text black, uncle dolan did not actually give us colored text. In fact, he took away the white text. White is when the pixels in the screen emit all three RGB light and all photoreceptors are stimulated, and the brain perceives white. So technically he took away our colored text for uncolored text. What a fucking douche guys.
