That's quite a waste of energy,
there's not much point to this,
other than preventing a deficit due to shoplifting.

Am I the only one who hates the direction technology is taking this world? There are some advancements I like, like iPods or computers, but stuff like this just scares me.

This mildly terrified me....Do not want to live in a world like this. I'm one of those people who likes to take the item of the shelf and look at it for whatever reason and put it back if I don't want it.....I'm getting to old for this planet.

How would you read the back of the item? What if you want to put an item back? What if trolls irl go around pushing buttons and then just leave?

This sounds like an imaginative, but stupid idea...

This works great, until there's more than one customer.

Dont know where you got your information but you're wrong. Each item has a QR code on it which when scanned creates an order and can be delivered to their house. No LCD screens...

I like technology and all, but this is a little too much.
User avatar #88 - thereaver (04/01/2012) [+] (1 reply)
So if it's virtual, why the heck would they have to build a whole building with a bunch of shelves when all you need is one screen?
