Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded, And the atoms in your left hand probably
came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics.
foo are all stardust. You couldn‘ t be here f stars hadnt exploded. Because the elements, the men,
nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution were at created at the beginning of time.
They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars. And the only way they could get into your body Is if
the stars were kind enough to explode. so forget Jesus: The stars died so you could be here today."

V,‘ -:'|' respect your opinions on the matter of god, but please also respect my opinion.
is quote isn t stating at stars created us, It shows how we are all connected with the Universe, It was also
kinda made as of a joke. I would respect it if you leave your religion out my science, and I' ll leave my science out
of your religion. Quote From Max Plank 'Science never tries to answer the questions of why we are here, how did
we get here, we only are about explaining the beauty of the cosmos. Yet it is still amazing thati still get letters
from radical Christians walling me Satan' s child because of my work‘.

IMO, people need to stop spending their time trying to understand how everything works and just enjoy what precious amount of life they have on earth.

Apparently Jesus himself was a gnostic who believed that God was an entity designed to confuse and mislead people so they didn't reach their true calling. Also, how can people laugh at scientist who claim we were made from stars when they say we were made by a guy in the sky? Isn't that the same thing? If we open our minds and look at all religions in the world you will see that they all through one factor or another. An example is the fact that Jesus died and was resurrected after three days and was given birth to by a virgin, so was Horus, born dec 25 by a virgin. 3 kings followed a star in the East to give him gifts. He was also called the Lamb of god and was crusified, and resurrected after 3 days. Krishna was born of a virgin, crusified and then resurrected with an eastern star showing the way etc. Jesus' birth sequence is astrological. The eastern star Sirius aligns on dec 24th with the three stars called orions belt (which are called the three kings). They all point to the place of sunrise on dec 25th which is why the three kings all followed the star to the east. The name of the virgin begins with M because the Virgo sign (virgin) is an m symbol. Eg the buddhas mother was called Maya. Bethlehem translates to 'house of bread' and is a reference to the constellation virgo who is depicted holding a sheath of wheat. During 22nd - 24th the sun appears to not move on the horizon and stays underneath the 'Southern cross' constellation and on dec 25th the sun appears to move again. 'The sun died on the cross, was dead for three days only to be born again'. This is why sun gods share the same concept. It's all worship of the sun's transition period in the sky. I am however a believer of the Divine. Just not the one thrown about to control our society.

God made sinners, rapists, ********* , liars and all that bad stuff then?

sounds like a nice guy

God made people. People made the world what it is today. People have free will. It's not his fault some people are idiots and waste their free will on something like rape, ****** , lying, and "all that bad stuff."

God created the universe and the way it functions. Therefore God designed the stars to function in a way that brought life to our universe. Same concept with evolution. It is the way God designed atoms and cells to function, evolve, and adapt. Both of these answers are only partially correct but when you put them together you get the right answer. Now stop with the religious/atheist arguments and start posting funny junk.

Has anyone taking in considering that God purposely made us and everything from stars?
User avatar #825 to #818 - trimageryan (03/29/2012) [-]
I can fully agree with this statement. As a agnostic I do believe in some sort of god but I also have a firm believe in science so I see no reason god (If in existence) couldn't have created evolution and the big bang.

This guy is actually much more well spoken and informed than most people like him, however, his logic is just in the wrong place due to his religious views.

Well first off I'm atheist and i know this, Christians are called Christians because of Jesus's last name Christ. To say " why do Christians believe in Jesus, anyway? " is like saying why do atheist not believe in god.
#820 to #816 - cockshitasshole (03/29/2012) [-]
So why do Christians believe in Jesus, anyway? Reply with proof, ******* .

Why do Christians believe in God.

True that, my good sir.

Because Jesus of Nazareth was an actual man who lived in the Middle East and preached the word of god, he's recognized as a prophet in the religion of Islam as well. Whether or not what he said was true, everything he was quoted to have said, he actually did say (more or less).
User avatar #808 to #804 - fosforgasxiii (03/29/2012) [-]
Jesus actually did exist. There's many historical proof for it. And I'm an atheist.

If this man truly believes in god and believes "physics is a cheap excuse", I would kindly invite him to jump out of a 20th story window and show how gravity is an excuse
