It was actually a pretty **** movie... I much prefer 1984 for my fill of post-revolution/oppressive government type movies...

I'm not going to deny that I read the hunger games because the movie was coming out
but I also read it partly because whenever I saw posts on here featuring reading, the book was ALWAYS The Hunger Games with a ******** of comments saying how good it is.
Don't start hating it because a) it's been made into a film and b) other people are now reading it.
Not only does that make you a hipster, but it also makes you massively hypocritical.

TL;DR: YOU LOVE THE BOOK SO DON'T START BITCHING ABOUT IT WHEN OTHER PEOPLE START LIKING IT TOO.

Took the girl I like on a date to it, so that's the only reason I would even care.

Was a good movie, though. Kept true to the books. GAWDAMMIT ROO

I couldnt see a damn thing on most of the scenes.

Too much Close Up shots and Camera Shake......Motion Sickness for most

Cinematography=Ruined a movie that could have been something better

watch battle royale - it's got teenagers killing each other and is more entertaining

I read that book three years ago when my aunt sent it to me, she also sent me Eragon before anyone even new about it. Conclusio, Im pretty sure my aunt knows more about pop culture than pop culture knows about itself.

Haven't read it. From what I can tell, people say the plot is good but the writing isn't that great.

I'll stick with rereading The Game of Thrones.

I've heard it was pretty mediocre. Both from critics and from a friend who was really excited for it.

When you compare the movie to the book, yeah. It's a little disappointing, since they cut a lot out (including the understandable nude scenes), and I was annoyed when the third package was omitted.

But on its own, the movie was ******* incredible.

Lol. It wasn't even that good.
