I don't get why people obsess over realism in games, if I want something realistic, I'll go outside for a walk, I play a game for fun, to take me away from reality. I don't care if I'm playing a game where I have a gun shaped like a soda can that shoots out carrots, if I'm having fun, it doesn't matter.

Like Mario for instance, Italian Plumber in a kingdom of mushroom people, eats red mushrooms to grow and a flower to shoot fire, does that sound realistic? No, but people love it.
