Hand which is holding the ball. Which one is it? What does the reflection tell you?

WITCHCRAFT!

Wtf? If that;s the trick it's retarded. It's the left obviously... The hand in the reflection is reversed. Like holding up an object in the mirror and wonder which hand was actually left -_-

if you don't see how it's mindfucking then you're too young for this site

come home right now young man

I just explained my thought, what's yours?
User avatar #140 to #137 - kevbread (03/24/2012) [-]
it's not your left hand because you're facing the opposite direction of the computer which makes your left his right

henceforth you need to use your right hand to actually hold it if you're facing the opposite direction of the reflection, but you can't hold it like the hand shows with your right hand (with your thumb on the right side of the orb)

then you need to use your left hand but then your using the wrong hand that the reflection says you're needing to use to make it logically match with the reflection

This painting as a whole is not a reflection -_-
#146 to #143 - kevbread (03/24/2012) [-]
the point of this paining is not meant to be a reflection dumbass, it's to defy the logical speaking

the hand holding the orb (which is cut off from the bottom of the paining, therefore suggesting it would be your hand) is not the same hand the reflection is holding it with

like i said, you're too young to get the joke in this content

have your read your previous post? You must be at least mildly retarded. Read #140 and tell me what you are arguing about. I agree with anon, there is no mindfuck at all. Hold up an orb and you'll see the exact same thing, with your face instead of Escher's of course.

Now don't pretend to be smart, dumb shit.

You are just wrong. There is no mindfuck trickery here. It does not "defy the logical speaking". Dear God, that is the worst attempt to sound smart I have heard in some time. And I'm not "too young to get the joke"

Oh and saying "henceforth" doesn't make you look brilliant either.

And if you want to get pedantic, this work is a lithograph, so it is a mirror image.

"lithography [lɪˈθɒgrəfɪ]
n
(Communication Arts / Printing, Lithography & Bookbinding) a method of printing from a metal or stone surface on which the printing areas are not raised but made ink-receptive while the non-image areas are made ink-repellent"

basically, you're saying that since it's made of some fancy material than other arts, it has become a mirror image. but the thing is that lithography has nothing to do with mirror images, it simply defines the materials used in making the art.

but since you really don't want to listen to anything not agreeing with your opinion, this thread is now cat
