The comic was expressing jealousy. The last panel more describes how he feels rather that what he actually said to the girl.

Case in point: jealousy. There is no way you can tell me you have never been jealous of something or someone. When somebody likes someone else, who wants to see them come in affectionate contact with a member of the opposite sex. It's primarily instincts if you think about it as well. Protecting what is yours, animals do it all the time. Not saying guys should treat women like property or vice versa, but I think you may get the point I am making.

Jealousy and paranoia are rather an illusion created by the element of suprise. You can overcome frustration and other negative emotions like jealousy when you accept the fact that common frustrations are not as bad as you try to make it believe it is and become more realistic about the world around you and your own behaviour.

Well, for me, I hug girls a lot, I also hug guys. I just like hugs, and don't view them as anything like copping a feel. If a girl hasn't seen somebody in a long time, then who cares? Maybe people in my social circle just don't care about hugs beyond friendship.
