In shock by the realization that her world would never be the same, Oprah wandered down the empty road, devoid of all life. Every minute or so, she could hear a growl, or a crash emanating from some alley or doorway, but so dazed was she, Oprah paid them no heed. As she came back into reality, she knew there was only one thing she could do; survive. Stomach grumbling and camel toe quivering, the distraught ex-television host set food as her first priority. She was on 5th Avenue, less than a block from her local grocer. Stepping into Thegame-Mart, Oprah could hardly recognize her weekly stop, as carts and shelves were overturned, entire isles raided of resources. Little did she know this would be her first encounter with the undead. She was scouring the breakfast isle, looking for something-anything-that would cease the growling in her loins. A weakness he had felt ever since waking up from her coma into this decrepit world. Almost too late, Oprah caught the reflection of a creature behind her in a novelty giant spoon decorating the cereal department. The growling wasn't her fat gut. Ducking fast out of the way to her right, Oprah swept up the giant spoon. As the zombie rambled forward into the shelf, Oprah had continued her spin to bring the giant utensil right around into the beast's head, resounding with a crack. A sound behind her had Oprah reversing direction in an overhead chop. Stopping mid swing, she almost tumbles over at the sight of a short and stout man, no older than twenty. He sported a short goatee and glasses, wearing tan shorts and a black shirt, fancy compared to Oprah's own sweat pants and sweater. Falling back with a squeal, he cowers at the awesome sight of the woman, as if an ogre it's self stood before him. The sight made Oprah chuckle a bit to herself, as it reminded her of an old bald doctor who had always reacted to her the same way. The two didn't have much time for introduction though, as they could hear a crowd of the creatures approach.
