OP, go and take the bass out of ANY BAND. It sounds like shit. Bass IS the most important. Everything plays its own part, but without guitar you can have keyboards. And without bass, guitar would be COMPLETELY lost. Not saying guitar isnt important, because it is, but you NEED bass.

No, you can't. Keyboard is a LEAD instrument. Bass is RYTHEM. You can try, but it sounds no where near as good. Think what you want, but i played in a decent band. I quite, and they're lost without me.
