But no matter what you do, The relays blow up, you die, Normandy is screwed. It's dumb, It's not worth playing 16 different times if its basically the same and none of your choices from previous games amount to anything. It seems like Shep does more damage than what the reapers would have done.
I listened to what it said, but I only got one of the "16" endings. The reapers are the solution, Blah Blah, They harvest us every 50,000 years to stop us from creating robots that will kill us.....Uh, what? So many plot holes and it just all around doesn't make sense.
1) If the catalyst was there the whole time, Why didn't it just tell the keepers to let the reapers through in the first game?
2) How did the whole normandy crew teleport from earth to the normandy? and why did Joker decide to flee the battle through the mass relay?
3) In ME2's "The Arrival" DLC, a mass relay blew up, and when it did, it killed the whole system, why didn't every system do the same in the end on ME3?
4) How is everyone to survive floating around earth helplessly?
Plus, not to mention it kills absolutely any replay value of the series. Why play ME1 and 2 different ways if it ends the same no matter what?
At least they are going to try and fix it. ps3.ign.com/articles/122/1221273p1.html

1. I haven't played the first game, but from what I gather in ME2, the keepers actually did let the reapers arrive, since they're the ones who activated the reapers' arrival from dark space. They did this for the Protheans too.
2. The whole Normandy crew didn't teleport to the ship. Your story may vary, but I had squadmates from Earth aboard the Normandy. I guess Cortez or Joker sought to save them from Earth as they thought Shepard was dead and all was desperate.
Also, when Joker saw the enormous explosion coming from the Citadel, it's normal for him to have wanted to evade the detonation, heading nowhere else but the mass relay.
3.They do not say the mass relay blows up, we see the relay light detonate, however we don't see the same explosion as in ME2. See it more as a deactivation, provoking according to some endings side effects such as destroying all synthetic life.
4. First off, congratulations if your galactic fleet wasn't wiped out by the Citadel. But in all chances, either the fleet lands on Earth and survives or species who can't live on Earth as colonies die. It's not a hollywood ending. It's a science fiction epic. Several civilizations were wiped out, and billions of sentient beings won't ever see their homeland again, not counting the fact all citizens from the Citadel most likely died.
When I destroyed the reapers, i fully knew i was destroying the geth, EDI and the galactic fleet at the same time. But it's the good ending, since you save the entire galaxy.

Whats the point of saving the galaxy if everyone is pretty much screwed?
Joker would have had to get to the relay WAY before shepard even made it to the citadel, which would make him a coward.
In Mass effect 1, it showed that the protheans hacked the citadel and made it impossible for the reapers to attack without a reaper DIRECTLY activating it, so WHY IN THE HELL didn't the catalyst just override it?!
Everone from the normandy was on earth, there was no way in HELL that they had enough time to get to the normandy in space, then get to the relay before the citadel exploded. How did they know if shepard was dead or not? why would they just leave his body? don't you think they would stay and help earth instead of fleeing for no reason?
The relays exploded in a manner SO HUGE, that you could supposedly see them from a galaxy viewpoint, How the hell did they not kill the system if they were that huge? the one that blew up in ME2 wasn't THAT big.
None of it makes sense, it asks more questions than it answers. and Bioware said it would answer questions. Casey Hudson said this Pre-ME3 release: "It's not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are, or whether you got ending A, B, or C." WHAT THE FUCK?! Thats exactly what we got! False advertising right there.

actually, everything after Shepard gets knocked out is either a dream, or everything was indoctrinating Shepard to become a reaper(If you don't destroy them). There's actually a lot of videos on the subject. Very interesting. It makes not destroying them seem like the "good" choice, Shepard doesn't act like himself, the little boy, etc. etc. plus, when Shepard is "alive", he's still in the rubble on earth. There's no shiny metal or anything, the rubble he's in is the kind found on the planet, further supporting it was a dream/indoctrination/w/e.
not everyone is screwed, the council was a minimal fraction of all living species in the galaxy. You, uh...kinda saved all of those guys.
Between the time Shepard is reported dead and the time he gets to the A.I, time passes by enough for his teammates to get rescued.
Why would they just leave their body? HOW BOUT TO ESCAPE THE MOTHERFUCKING REAPER NEXT TO THE CONDUIT? (think for a sec, dude)

Just stop. You know theres so much wrong with it. If you liked the ending, awesome for you, I'm glad you liked it, but quit trying to prove that it makes sense.
And just to clarify, they had no reason to leave the body. If you noticed, the reaper left that area after it shot shep down.
Also, yes, everyone is screwed. Earth can support every race in the galaxy, also, they can't stay in space if their ships were disable with the "Kill" ending.
Theres so much wrong with the ending, and you know it. just watch the ending after you've played all 3 games thoroughly, because it doesn't make sense if you understand the whole story.
