It's not worth building a new system which will be outdated in one or two years when you already have a great system with loads of games and it will last for years.

No. I can easily update the hardware in a PC. When a new X-Box comes out, then what? I can't get the individual updated parts to install, even if I new how. A PC has more games, plus mods and I don't have to pay for online gaming.

You can keep playing your old games for your Xbox and the smaller new ones which will still be released on it.
Eventually you will be able to afford the new Xbox which won't cost much more than a new Graphics Card or Processor which is what generally needs updating.


Also modding is for pussies. Just play the game properly.
Those fun mods like the MLP dragons mod on Skyrim are okay, but you can just get them on the Xbox anyway.


A gaming PC strong enough to play games like an Xbox does will easily cost you about $1000.

Eh, not really. The game board is more abstract than what's actually on the table, as your mind serves as the major playground (at least in theory, actual practice may vary).

Traditional (real) roleplaying games work a lot with the concept of a storyteller working together with other people (the players) to create a cohesive story with the other people acting as the main characters. :) It's hella fun. The last few years I've gotten I think half a dozen more people to try roleplaying with me, and they all enjoy it so far :D

You could totally make a drinking game out of D&D.
