Nice wiki wanking, but the AS-50 is a piece of shit. It's a shoddy remake of the M107. It has a 1.05 MOA. Compared to the L115A3's >0.55 (8.59mm) and the M99's 1 MOA, it's not as accurate as you make it out to be.

Oh and on top of that, you have obviously NEVER shot those two weapons before. The AS-50 has a much smoother recoil.

The AS-50 may not be the BEST but the M107 is a 3MOA piece of shit. I'd definitely agree about the L115A3's but I was staying at the same caliber you dipshit. I was showing a weapon with more kick, and a weapon with more accuracy yet same shell.
Oh and that isn't an M99 that he showed. That's a M107 or an M82. If you knew anything about either of them you could have seen that right off the bat.

Longest .50 BMG kill was around 2,300m. The longest kill was a British man, using the L115A3 LR. From memory, I believe it was 2,460m. It is chambered with .338 Lapua Magnum. Not only was it the longest, but he killed two fuckers with this shot.

.22lr has a range of 1-2miles, just not accurate. Guns shooting those calibers all have potential to kill someone 3 miles away, just it is easier with a machine gun lol

4) Who the fuck would actually deploy a 20 x 110mm anti-material rifle? A .50 would do absolutely fine in 95% of the cases (although that extra few mms could really help in some operations). In fact, it would be lighter, therefore more ammo could be carried. Hell, in fact, most snipers carry around rifles like the L115A3. Why do you need a .50 round for anti-infantry? Exactly, you don't, so a .338 will work just fine. But of course my rifle doesn't have the longest kill. It isn't even convenient to deploy (and the AS-50 isn't often used either, for the same reasons).
