OP here: Meh im not that good at guitar and bass so i just scribbled something out that looks like it might be hard to play to make a point

Nope still sounds like shit.

It'll sound worse. There are power chords there using the 6th string. to make it sound better, you'd have to tune the first 2 strings up a half step.

I did play it... It's not the best thing ever but its got some potential; especially the first part. It makes a really good riff OP.

similar experience.
My gf plays cello, she had just got done showing me a new piece she was practicing and was putting it away. I walk over to the piano start playing some song that i cant remember now, and some random douche bags come into the practice hall. one of them tries to hit on her and asks her to play something, she looks at me and i nod for her to go ahead, as Im proud of her and was gonna go over and whisk her away after anyway. she proceeds to run her bow across the strings one at a time tuning, for all of about five seconds. she literally is about to start her first note when the two guys both go "WOOOOOOOWWWWWWW That was beautiful" Me and her could not stop laughing all the way to the car.

Wow lol, glad i wasn't alone in experiencing that. Glad you two had some laughs over it, sounds pretty funny. I think its being a combination of being both a tard and non-musician is what makes these events happen.

yea, but the part that made this all worse was that we were in the practice hall at the university, in the music wing. they had no reason to be there if they werent music, or recording art students. hahahaha

but yea, laughs were had, sorry that you happened to be dating the dunce, otherwise you'd have probally laughed too. haha

I play jazz piano. I thought I was the only one below 50 who loved jazz.

I'm not a huge fan but I do enjoy it.

I enjoy hearing jazz in movies and stores, even though I like a completely different genre of music.

I'm thinking that maybe it's meant to be played with a weird tuning. Maybe try tuning the B string up to a C.

I can hear this piece on like four damn instruments besides any form of guitar in my head. Fuck pep band, most songs don't sound good arranged as pep band pieces. This song is no exception.
