Actually she's better in the sense that she actually has talent once you get her out of the studio where they auto tune and do a whole bunch of other crap she still sounds good unlike the other two. If you look up her acoustic jazzy stuff she's actually pretty good. Am I saying she uses this talent in her mainstream stuff no, not really, but at least she has talent and musical ability.

well yeah, but the point is that when I turn on the radio I'm not hearing acoustic jazzy stuff, I'm hearing the exact same middle of the road pedestrian thoughtless pop music as the rest. Brittney, Rihanna, Gaga, Beiber, it's all just another brick in the wall of "music nobody should listen to".

Actually the stuff you hear on the radio is pretty much the only "mindless pop music" she has. If you listen to her other songs that actually have meaning and a story behind it, you would not feel that way. For example, "Marry The Night" was a really personal song. Thus, it flopped like a grandmother's breasts. If it isn't a song about having sex set to a typical techno beat, people won't listen to it.

"If it isn't a song about having sex set to a typical techno beat, people won't listen to it. "

that's no excuse... if she's capable of good music but releases crap then she's worse than all of them. she's a hypocrite too. If fame is the end result then yeah, she's been very successful, but I'd rather put out music I'm proud of, and see it flop than strive to be mediocre. Lets be honest, she only gets alot of the attention she gets because she does "crazy" stuff. Wearing a suit of meant and all that stuff... And I watched that bit she did as her male alter-ego "Jo Calderone"... It was just an absurd rouse so she could pay herself compliments. Listen, I take no issue with you liking her, but there;s just some of the reasons I think she is pedestrianly mundane and fits perfectly into the middle of the road.
