Les goes more into realistic things, while Bear goes through the WORST situation you can have

thats true but les actually goes through more trouble, more stress, which is why he ended the show after only a few seasons he just couldnt do it physically or mentally. hes stuck for a week in relatively unpredictable conditions forced to survive AND get enough good camera shots to make a show. if he gets a shot of him climbing up a mountain from the base of the mountain, he has to go all the way back down and get that camera again just to climb back up after getting the camera. while bear is hardcore i honestly feel worse for the camera men then i do for him, i actually felt bad for les sometimes and tried to empathize with him


tl;dr i prefer les just because what he did was real, with bear as hardcore as he is, i feel worse for the camera men then him. i know hes trying to teach you rather then go through it himself but just personal preference id rather watch les
