Hey come on now, we all know that hell and the devil are just fairy tales right?
The story of hell being a place of torment and torture for your sins comes from vague lines in the bible such as Matthew 13:42 "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
Pretty good description of hell we have there i honestly do not know where the torture for eternity was mentioned, heck even the devil's appearance is only ever mentioned once and that is in the form of a snake when he tells eve to steal some fruit, yet we seem to know he looks like half a goat with horns and **** ... oh and a goatee... because he is a goat man.
Or what about Jews?
Jews do not believe in hell either.

Oh, and the goat thing is also a move from the Catholic church to give asociations to pagan Gods, indirectly saying (your pagan Gods is the devil).

The way I have always seen it is that hell would be separation from God.
Acording to the pentecostal church, which I was brought up in. God IS love. Therefore hell is an existense without love. I believe only the catholic church consider hell to be a place were people are burnt. This image stems from the book of Dante where he visits hell and experiences the seven circels of hell. Since the book is written for the catholic church it doesn't really mean much to non-catholics.

We do believe in hell. We call it Gehenom, because there was once a city near jerusalem that was called "Gey ve ninom", and people there sinned so much that it makes Soddom and Gomorrah look like MLP. Apparently, this entire city was cast into the center of the earth to burn in eternal fire, along with all sinners. The thing is, after 10 (Jewish) months, their soul is purified and they can ascend to heaven.

Yeah you're right. No matter what you do, you get 10 months of rehab, then you go to heaven. Of course, there is a catch: Only those that ate kosher food for their entire lives will get to taste the most delicious meats of all: The Ziz bird, the Behemoth and the Leviathan.

They kinda do. Its called "Sheol" and its akin to the traditional "Underworld" seen in Greek Mythology...For a more modern comparison, its a lot like the Underworld in "Exalted"
