A genre of music is known to change the listeners.
Rap = Illiterate fags with sagging pants
Country = Inbred rednecks
Jazz = Older/class, boring
Japanese rock = Nerds with almost no friends
Gospel = ... This one is more obvious than the others
Alternative rock = This falls in line with people who prefer other musics, also.. To sum it up, people who also listen to the following with alternative rock are their respective categories:
Metal = long hair, asshole, thinks he's a bad ass
Emo music = Cuts wrists, emotional trainwreck, no fun to be around (on rare occasions, sexy)
Rap = Illiterate fags with sagging pants
Country = Inbred rednecks

Yea, I wasn't positive with the generalization, but you get the point. Given there's always those exceptions where people listen to a bunch of music, they're usually just normal. But when a person listens to mainly 1 genre, they're compelled to act the way the artists do. I listen to dubstep, rap, alternative rock, metal, techno, classical, etc etc.
