But when you really think about it there is really not much America or the UN can do for them. sure they might capture kony but then what? It won't stop the LRA or corruption..... if you ask me the situation is just beyond repair

I don't mean to be an ass but it's not likely we can fix it at all...... once kony is captured america is probably going to minimize their involvement, and the LRA are just going to keep doing what they do. Even if america and the UN get involved militarily to confront the LRA (which is extremely unlikely) it will most likely end up like Iraq did. And i haven't even begun to mention corruption and poverty..... seriously, look into it more, the military there aren't that much better than the LRA. I;m trying really hard not to be an ass about this, but when you sit down ans seriously think the situation over, you will realize that no one can really do that much to help them. That doesn't mean we can't try though, I'm just thinking from a realistic standpoint. Someone just as bad as kony will take his spot wehn he gets captured, and the public will be to busy celebrating to realize that the problems haven't been fixed.

The UN is barely doing anything to help situation in Africa, and stopping ONE man isn't going to make a difference. I am using my brain. there are many people who care, but most of them don't know what to do, or they think like you and think nothing will ever change. think about it, if everybody who cared did something for Africa (and other regions with problems) i think that most of those problems could be solved. we're in majority, we have better technologies than they do, it would be a shame if we didn't use our advanced technologies to make this world a better place. if we keep focussing on the problems inside our countries, we might have a better home, but more than half of the world wouldn't. most people earn enough money to house 3-4 other people. (others have enough for several hundreds or thousands.) the problem is, we don't share that money. we buy things we don't need. we ignore the need of others, just so we can have more happiness, or at least the illusion of happiness.

It would be such a great world if were that easy man....

i know that it isn't that easy. but it's possible.
if i don't find myself a wife (and don't get a family) i think i'll support people to get them educated and so they can support other people and start their own families.

if some one tried to kiddnap me or my family I'd go after them with a machete. even if they had guns i'd still try because I know that there is a chance if I fight. I'd rather die fighting then let shit happen. and Dont say I wouldn't.

but you cannot fight an airplane or a helicopter (unless you also have aircraft)

kony captures children, makes them kill theirt own parents, makes them do all kinds of horrific things to other children, just so they lose all of their feelings.

if you get hit by a bomb, at least you're dead instantly (mostly)
kony has lots of victims that are just as deformed as if they got hit by a bomb of some sorts.
