I know the name isn't CommunityJunk, or TalkJunk, but that's the way I see it. Just a place with some decent bros.
That, and most of the time I look at the comments for the real content. Those usually turn up funnier than the actual front page, so there's that.

We're not a community retreat because we don't really have a forum system. We just comment on people's profiles or on pictures. While discussion can get going, the commenting was meant to be on the image itself.

It's kind of like the image becomes the topic, in which commentors create other topics from it, and that whole image page becomes a discussion, albeit not a major one like a forum.
It's like a Content/Community Hybrid.

Well I don't go on 9gag so I dunno much haha. I do go on reddit though, and tumblrs on those rare occasions. I'll take your word for it that they take a lot from 9gag... But I don't go there as I said.

Well, 9gag likes to throw their banner on the bottom on pictures saved from the site.
People also comment "stop stealing from 9gag" even though we're suppose to be sworn enemies or some shit.

There is no "war" or "alliance" or "feud" between any of the sites... Just a bunch of retards who can't take the fact that other people like their content and want to share it with their friends / family / others off-said-site. I don't care where content comes from. If it's funny, I'll thumb it up.
