Money isn't the root of all evil, the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.
Giving money at church is called "Tithing" Which means "Tenth". You're to give a tenth of your money because God granted you with it to begin with and everything you have is his. You're just giving back.

God will judge you every minute of every day, satan does not. God will not let you in if you don't respect his rules, satan don't give a fuck, all are welcome in his home. God will condemn you to an eternity of suffering in the afterlife for a finite existence on earth, satan will bless you with all you desire as a human as long as you have faith IN YOURSELF. God is the reason satan exists. God is the reason rape, murder, genocide, infanticide, genital mutilation, slavery, war, disease/plague, and natural disasters exists (It's all there in your "holy book"). God is the reason desire and temptation exists. So whether it is money (which he too created) or the love of money, god is the reason it exists. Im not saying God does or doesn't exist but if he does he's one HELL of a guy.
