I don't always talk to Art Majors...

I'd rather get a degree in something I like and have a just okay job for a while that has nothing to do with my major, than have a degree in something that is just okay and general, and get stuck in jobs that I have no happiness in.

Sucks that most people get stuck with jobs that they never add up to their dreams as a child. It also sucks that most people, and most jobs require college education, so its not really your choice, and when you get out of it, hundreds of other people did the same thing you did, so you will never see that "Higher education" advantage.

I'm going to go for game design, and if that doesn't work out what's the point of getting upset over it. If that is what I want to do, than i know i would be severely unhappy doing a "drone" job where you could easily be replaced and leave no real mark on the world, culture, a singular person or anything else.
