This is something that electronic musicians, including myself, have trouble with. Performing one of your tracks could be as simple as pressing play, because theres really no way to perform it live unless you have every sound mapped to a button on a controller, or you're scratching on an actual turntable with two separate tracks playing. Most electronic live performers will use a midi controller to change it up a bit and do some live editing, pitch changing, loops, and some other things. Skrillex actually does this alot, if you ever see any of his live performances.
That's really the thing though, Skrillex is an incredibly talented producer who understands Ableton (the program he uses) to it's fullest extent, but he's not the best live performer.
In the end, just saying that he hits the play button and does nothing else is a complete fabrication.

INB4 you don't get the joke.
The most common misconception about electronic music is that it doesn't really take much to do a live performance, all they have to do is push play. That is not true, usually what happens is that the artist would mix songs during the performance and use different techniques to do so. That alone takes a lot of talent. Sure, they're not shredding on a guitar or mashing keys on a piano like a boss, but still you gotta give them some credit for what they do.
