Difference is very simple.
All off the guys in the first group had great grades in highschool, got into elite colleges, then developed something new that started making money WHILE in college, then left college to pursue their careers.
People in second group thought "I don't need fukken school, I can make it on my own" and quit with no plan, no idea.

The funny thing is all those guys at the top did good at school when they did go, they just realized they could do just as well if they dropped out, so they did.

Yeah Zuckerberg quit HARVARD kuz he was already making a fortune with Facebook. I don't think that really pertains unless you go to Harvard and are developing the next multi-billion dollar company, dude.

Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard because they were extremely intelligent and had a substantial way of income, whether it was FaceBook or Microsoft. That is why they succeeded, If you think you are smart enough to drop out of school go ahead and try it.

When those successful people quit school, they had something else going on for them. They were brilliant and motivated. They quit school because they had a goal in mind and school wasn't the way to achieve their goal.

Most people who quit school are simply lazy and don't want to put in the effort it takes to be successful.

There's only one way to the achieve greatness and that's hard work, whether you work hard inside of school or outside.

The successful people who quit school did so because they had nothing to gain from school. They had aspirations that were beyond school and had the means, and willpower, to achieve them. If one has aspirations such as they did, and the means to achieve them, then they are by all means entitled to do so, but if your motives are to live the easy life, well then in the words of Bill Gates, "Life's not fair; get used to it."

I read the comments and have a conclusion;

It's not about being/not being in school;

1. Have a goal (or goals)
2. Do not waste time achieving them.

If you want to be fabulously rich, it's probably a better idea for you to not do busywork at school and instead study on your own.
If you want to have a run-of-the-mill job, then go through school, graduate, work 9-5, ?????, Profit.
If you don't want that kind of life, find/choose another path and take it.

Just whatever you do, 1) Be happy doing it 2) Don't interfere with other people ability to do the same.

Problem?
