im confused as to why we are revisiting another ancestor sonr get me wrong this looks badass and im a huge assassins creed fan, but i thought desmond knew what he had to to already therefore we dont need to revisit an ancestor. at the end of revelations you saw where that one lady died and then it was forwarded to present day and their van stops and they get out at what i assume is that spot so i guess they will explain why we are revisiting another ancestor
If Desmond didn't visit ancestors and we were always Desmond the game would be retarded. I like being the hooded figure in ancient times than some dude in the future...I think visiting an ancestor in the American Revolution, thats badass.
i know and thats why im wondering how they are going to pull this one off are they gonna have you going back back and forth between the ancestor and desmond? are you gonna play in both the animus and in the present this time. and they still didnt explain what happened to lucy
Well obviously they have a plan and they'll explain everything, if they didn't then they wouldn't be making another game...how would you like it if they just not made a game and not explained what happened in the last game. I think that this new ancestor has a new piece to the puzzle.

I think at the end of ACR, they are at the library where ezio and altair died. Maybe there is one last piece of the puzzle? Since the US won the revolution, maybe they will show that in this, they finally defeat the templars. Ubisoft did say this is their biggest AC game yet...
