Alright. Shit just got real. This is probably gonna get down thumbs, but IDGAF.
ACTA is not a BILL. It is a trade agreement. It was not passed, it was signed by the USA. It wasn't signed today, last week, or even last month. It was signed by America in mid-January, around the same time that we realized it was there. We've been under ACTA for 2 months now.

Google isn't the government, and they still have the same policies about what they do with your information. They have been telling everyone about their new policies for a while. Every time you log into a google site, there is a big bar across the top that says "we are changing out privacy policy. This stuff matters. Click here to learn more."
This isn't some form of government censorship, they aren't out to get you. They are just changing their business plan with fair warning to those who might be affected. Believe me, google is the good guy in the war against internet censorship.
Hell, the US government is the good guy as well (otherwise SOPA and PIPA would have passed). It's just a large part of the entertainment industry that is trying to get these bills and trade agreements through, not for the sake of controlling your life and oppressing you, but for the sake of protecting their profits. Honestly, you can't even blame them. The only thing wrong with what they are doing is that the writing of the bills are incredibly faulty and have many negative side affects. People seriously need to chill the fuck out about this stuff and stop pretending like they are crusaders against a great injustice. The people are still in power, your government is still on your side in this. We just need to keep making our voices heard, and the people you elected will listen. We've proven that in the past few months with the withdrawal and delay of SOPA/PIPA, and the very... liberal... conditions under which the US signed ACTA. Many other countries didn't even sign it at all.

Let's all go to google and do thousands of searches on terms like "Kill Obama" and "Plane Jacking" and "How to Suicide Bomb"
