People doesn't understand that the chances of winning lossing of drawing a match, actually depends of the ability of the players. So if someone really goods plays with someone really bad, its likely the good person wins

is it even possible to draw in a chess game?
User avatar #42 to #40 - demonatatwo **User deleted account** (02/26/2012) [-]
yes its called a stalemate
User avatar #44 to #42 - derblastermaster (02/26/2012) [-]
for those who don't know, it basically only happens when the only pieces left are kings
#50 to #44 - Faindragon (02/26/2012) [-]
Or when you cannot move any piece without putting your king in check.

Fun fact, stalemate have had a lot of rules about what to do in that situation.
In early time did White win should it be stalemate.
In betting would you win half the prize sum if you where white player.
There have even been rules that you had to "remake" your last move should you put the other player in a stalemate position.

Actually it makes sense because chess isnt left up to chance, it s the skill factor that comes into it

and draws never really happen, at least not 1/3 of the time
